Maschera Marinella Lush.
La maschera Marinella di Lush, anche conosciuta in inglese come BB Seaweed, è la prima maschera… anzi il primo prodotto Lush che provo.
Sono entrata nel negozio alla disperata ricerca di una maschera per il viso che magari facesse qualche miracolo visto che di questi prodotti se ne parla così bene. Appena entrata nel negozio davanti a me c’era un tavolo che sembrava quasi apparecchiata in attesa di persone che si sedessero attorno per mangiare quello che offriva. Su questo tavolo c’erano diverse ciotole piene di sostanze cremose di ogni consistenza e colore con al loro interno cucchiai e attorno alimenti che rappresentavano alcuni ingredienti contenuti nel loro interno. Erano tutte maschere per il viso e in particolare quelle nelle ciotole erano le maschere fresche Lush.
Anche se l’aspetto non è tra le migliori, e presto vedrete perché, ho scelto la maschera marinella che è una maschera lenitiva e levigante.

I entered the store in desperate search of a miracle face mask since people talk so much about how good their products are. At the entrance was a table that almost looked like it was waiting for people to sit around it. Tutti gli ingredienti sono riportati sulla confezione, ma quelli più importanti che svolgono le principali azioni sono le alghe, il miele e gel di aloe vera.
Aprendo il barattolo la prima cosa che si nota in questa maschera sono la presenza di alghe e un odore abbastanza forte che ricorda quello che si sente quando si entra in erboristeria.
Anche se il barattolino sembra molto piccolo non lasciatevi ingannare perché con il contenuto si potrebbe ottenere un paio di mesi di applicazioni se lo si utilizza due volte a settimana. Peccato che essendo una maschera fresca senza conservanti lo si deve consumare entro la data di scadenza riportata sulla confezione o al massimo pochi giorni dopo. A me personalmente è rimasta metà barattolo dopo un mese.

Quando si preleva il prodotto è un po’ strano perché molto grumoso e anche un po’ granuloso per la presenza di mandorle tritate al suo interno. L’applicazione tuttavia è molto semplice e lascia una piacevole sensazione di freschezza sulla pelle per quei 10-15 minuti che si lascia in posa.
La maschera si indurisce sulla pelle ma non in modo eccessivo come quelle che contengono argilla, ma come quelle se avete la pelle sensibile può dare un po’ di fastidio e creare una leggera sensazione di prurito ma nulla di grave. Io consiglio di non parlare o muovere la pelle del viso perché la maschera si sgretola letteralmente se lo fate.
La maschera si leva velocemente con acqua tiepida lasciando la pelle con una sensazione di freschezza e al tatto morbidissima e radiosa. Aiuta anche ad attenuare rossori e ridurre la pelle infiammata. Anche se è una maschera che si secca sulla pelle non ho sentito l’esigenza di idratare la pelle dopo perché rimasta morbida ed elastica anche per giorni!
