coffee brownies – brownies al caffè

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will need
225g chocolate, chopped
200g stick plus 6 tbsp butter, chopped
4 eggs
130g caster sugar
125g plain all-purpose flour
1 ½ tbsp instant coffee or espresso granules
20cm square baking pan, greased and dusted with flour

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 170˚C/gas mark 3. Put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water. Do not let the base of the bowl touch the water. Allow to melt, stirring occasionally, until completely smooth. Remove from the heat.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar for one to two minutes. Sift in the flour, add the coffee and whisk again to mix. Pour the chocolate mixture in and mix well with a wooden spoon.
3. Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking pan, spread level with a spatula and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
4. Serve at room temperature, cut into equal portions

Ingredienti:

  • 225 gr cioccolato
  • 200 gr più 6 cucchiai di burro
  • 4 uova
  • 130 gr zucchero
  • 125 gr farina
  • 1 e 1/2 cucchiaio di caffè solubile o caffè espresso in polvere
  • teglia imburrato e infarinato

Riscaldate il forno a 170°c. Sciogliete burro e cioccolato a bagnomaria poi rimuovere dal calore. Montate a parte uova e zucchero per un paio di minuti. Poi aggiungete farina e caffè e continuate a lavorare. Versate il cioccolato e mescolate con un cucchiaio. Infornate per circa 25 minuti.
