Ornament Cake Pops

Ornament Cake Pops.

Ornament Cake Pops look beautiful, are delicious and are easy to make!

You will need:

  • 350 gr of your favourite cake, it could be a sponge cake, chocolate cake, red velvet…
  • 175 g White chocolate or milk chocolate

For the coating:

  • White chocolate
  • food coloring
  • sprinkles

1. Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and set over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring occasionally just until melted.

2. Crumble the cake into the melted chocolate, and stir until well mixed. Use your hands to roll the mixture into balls each about as large as a golf ball. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball, place on the lined baking sheet and leave in the fridge for about 30 minutes to firm up.

3. For the chocolate coating: Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and set over a pan of simmering water, stirring occasionally just until melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the food colouring.
4. Remove the cake pops from the fridge, then dip each one into the chocolate coating and either insert upright into the polystyrene block or place back on the lined baking sheet.

5. Place somewhere cool, but not the fridge, and leave for 20-30 minutes or just until the chocolate has set. Before the coating sets on the cake pops, you can roll them in sprinkles or use royal icing or other colored chocolate to decorate them and make them look like ornaments!

Per preparare dei bellissimi cake pops che sembrano decorazioni natalizie quello che vi occorre è:

  • 350 gr della vostra torta preferite, può essere un pan di spagna, torta al cioccolato, red velvet…
  • 175 gr di cioccolato bianco o al latte

Per decorare cioccolato bianco e confettini colorati.

Fate sciogliere il cioccolato e sbriciolate dentro la vostra torta. Formate delle pallina dalla grandezza della forma di una pallina da golf. Infilate dentro un bastoncino da lecca lecca, ponete su un vassoio e fate raffermare in frigo 30 minuti.

Per decorarli fate fondere il cioccolato bianco e usate il colorante alimentare per dare colore. Immergete il cake pop dentro e distribuite di nuovo sul vassoio. Lasciateli indurire un po’ in frigo e poi potete continuare a decorarli con decorazioni di cioccolato, di ghiaccia reale e di confettini!
